Book with us and the rate is lower, because no booking site's commission sits inside it. Safaris and transfers come at what they cost, and the reply on WhatsApp comes from the people who run the place.

Confirm your cottage with us 3 months or more before you arrive and the rate for those dates drops by 15%. It is the one standing offer we run, and it is for direct bookings only: the booking sites never carry it.

Sri Lankan residents are quoted and charged in rupees, at our resident rate. Message us and we will send the rupee figure.
Room to Be Flexible
If the cottage is free the following night we can usually let you check out later, and breakfast before a dawn climb is a message away.

Is It Cheaper to Book Direct?
Yes, on every cottage we have. The booking sites add a commission to the rate you see there. Book with us and it is not in the price, and booking 3 months ahead takes a further 15% off. The rates are in the table above.
How Does the Early Bird Discount Work?
Book direct 3 months or more before the night you arrive and the cottage rate for those dates drops by 15%. At the starting rates that is US$59.50 instead of US$70 for the Double Room Cottage, US$68 instead of US$80 for the Triple, US$76.50 instead of US$90 for the Quadruple Family and US$72.25 instead of US$85 for the Economy Quadruple, breakfast included. Send your dates on WhatsApp and the Early Bird figure comes back in writing.
Is Breakfast Included?
Yes, and it is included on the booking sites too, so it is no reason to book direct. The commission we do not pay, the early-booking discount and the four things in the section above are.
Do You Run Seasonal Offers or Promotions?
One standing offer, the Early Bird above, and no advertised campaigns beyond it. The table shows each cottage's starting rate; message us with your dates and we will say what that week costs.
Can I Pay in Sri Lankan Rupees?
Yes. Rates are shown in US dollars because most of our guests arrive from abroad, and if you live in Sri Lanka, ask on WhatsApp and we quote you in rupees instead.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
The terms that apply to your booking are confirmed in writing when you book, and they are set out on our cancellation policy page. If your plans are uncertain, say so when you message and we will tell you where you stand before you commit to anything.
Do You Charge a Deposit?
We tell you exactly what is required when we confirm your dates, in the same message as the rate. Nothing is taken from you before you have seen it written down.
